i love to connect people to environment so that part is really good. it's really disturbing sometimes that i can have days go by with almost no ot traffic and literally seeing somebody handing out tickets to people who have come out to the district to shop. i found myself in a dilemma thinking how is this going to work. meanwhile as i work on my business there would be a crime down the street, say a 1000 pair of earrings from a small business owner. those were gone, there was no communication between /pher merchants that there was any crime on the street. we can't afford to have our livelihood stolen from underneath us. i find myself stepping in, getting involved and getting incredible support. in january i reached out and said i'm going to try this on and i had people reaching across the table saying how can i help you. more and more people keep leaning in, saying how can i help, how can i help? and thank you. so i'm here to say thank you for your support and we have more to do. and i'm kind of excited that so many people are behind us right now sayin

the reality is, in the resource environment that we are in, getting the bilingual officer to the scene is time-consuming and elongates the whole process. not having access to a cell phone for an officer forces him into position to use whatever is available or the personal cell phone. that should not be the case. one thing we do, i want to mention as a program, as a policy that we would like to see,we would like to see language line gets training on domestic violence awareness and maybe cultural competency issues. they provide a huge service to the city. the city is one of their biggest clients. i think there is a lot to be said for the idea that language in and of itself is not a panacea; it is not monolithic. there is a difference between saying a restraining order and saying something else, and how you even talk to the victim of trauma is vital. we would like to see more involvement, rather than assuming that they are the experts which is i think how the police have looked at it in the past. language line is the expert on language, and they should teach us. we have a lot to teach int

we really appreciate you bringing a program for this city for our environment to help with disposing of drugs [inaudible] or regulations are stating that we can't take anything back, but we always would call in [inaudible] and i appreciate that. it's always been difficult for us as a pharmacy knowing that parents have all this medication and they don't utilize it or it become a waste factor and it stays at home. i appreciate being in the company with all these great independent businesses here in san francisco. i don't think we are quite as up to the par to be with these people who work as hard and being in the community. we're a pharmacy, we work as hard as we can. we're an independent pharmacy, we've been there for 31 years and we /praoerpbt the able to deliver medications to our patients. we're a compounding agency. we have a great time as being a real pharmacy, is what i like to say. we don't just lick, stick and pour. we can develop. we are involved with our community and we appreciate you allowing us to be in the community to help the community. thank you for this opportunity.

we mean that every classroom, every school environment should be a safe environment where everyone is welcomed regardless of who you are, regardless of your ethnic background, sexual orientation or cultural background and we don't couple that with behaviors that kids will display. and the other thing in terms of context that i want to make sure is clear and i didn't am happy you're here and we are fighting a battle against pop culture and the messages they receive on tv, logging on to the facebook page, logging on to all of the social media that is out there, think how many times in pop culture they refer to someone as "their little b, or little n" and that's just the way we greet each other and for someone that entered school only speaking spanish and you think about the language issues and in spanish i can tell you a whole bunch of terms that people use to great each other that are so racist, homo phobic and have a length and accepted as accepted and we need to work together and we're dealing with a culture we are trying to shift and in san francisco we are proud of the work around

view in this gallery demonstrate a wealthy information about their subject through their dress and environments. like many photographs taken today 17th century portraits were taken from weddings. from 1625 him and his wife are exceptional examples of large scale marriage portraits. other typical occasions for commissioning portraits were births. capture the innocence of a beloved child. one of rembrandt's pupil. we see why he became a painter. the child's face reveal his own mature vocabulary. for those who have seen the exhibition it's exhibited next to rembrandt's work and you can see the two side by side. from this period, who was most famous for his self portraits. at the time, the paintings, is a copy of the original tradition of rembrandt. here you see the two paintings together which makes a subtle variations evident. the angle of the head and more controlled and refined manner of the brush work and copy on the left suggest that these paintings are probably not by the same hand. we now have scientific evidence which further suggest that the morris picture is a studio copy perhaps by the
